This petition is important because many people enjoy this image, or as many call it, a meme. Our problem with this image being labeled as a hateful one by the ADL is because it is NOT on the same level as a swastika, or other offensive image. Simply because a harmless image was turned into something hateful by wrongdoers doesn't mean the entire premise of it is wrong. If a picture of a cow was taken and photo-shopped to resemble a Nazi, does that mean the image of the cow itself should be banned or viewed as offensive? The simple answer is no. This is why we have such a problem with this stance on the harmless image of our frog friend Pepe.
