Perform all necessary action, up to and including military intervention, to halt Russia's violation of Ukraine's borders

It is the belief of the author of this petition that the actions recently taken by the Russian Federation in and around Crimea constitute a grave threat not just to Ukraine, but to Europe and the United States as well. In sending troops past the sovereign borders of Ukraine without authorization, and occupying government buildings and airports, Russia and it's leader Vladimir Putin have shown a blatent disregard for the independence of the Ukrainian state, as well as the Ukrainian people. It is also the belief of the author of this petition that Ukraine alone is incapable of effectively countering this incursion alone, and that it is the duty of the United States to lend Ukraine whatever assistance is required to repel this incursion, whether that be economic, political, or military.
