As President Obama considers arming foreign terrorists in Syria to fight the Assad regime, we would like to insure that the weapons are given out by the same standards that our elected officials require of US citizens. Therefor, anyone in Syria who receives a weapon will be subject to the same scrutiny that Americans would have under the Manchin-Toomey amendment expanding background checks for weapons purchases in the US.
