It is unacceptable that people with known mental illness can purchase and use guns. Moreover, people who have been discharged from the Military as disabled because of permanent PTSD or brain damage as unfit to serve should not be allowed to own a gun.
Although we are indepted to these individuals for their service, we should not pay with innocent lives.
