The nationwide ban of the addition of Sodium Fluoride to public water supplies should be permanently banned for the following reasons:
>A Harvard study published in Environmental Health Perspectives, a publication of the National Institute of Health concluded that exposure to fluoride can lower IQ.
>The claim used to justify its use is that "it prevents cavities" which is a medical claim and under current FDA regulations transforms fluoride into a drug. Thus requires a medical prescription given by a doctor after a diagnosis deems it necessary.
>it is a pesticide
