In light of the increasing amount of data coming in from towns and cities that have been effected negatively by the use of fracking, it is now time to ban this practice and restore the land and water to its non-polluted state. It is clear that the companies who use fracking prey on the underserved in our country, and entice them with the promise of financial benefits. These benefits fall short when their wells and air are poisoned, and the health of their families are severely impacted. There is so much untapped potential in sustainable energy alternatives. How about we dot the land with windmills and solar energy farms instead of fracking wells?
