The United States of America is founded on freedom and rights. The second amendment was included to ensure these rights. Without guns, this nation would not exist, without guns, fatality rates would rise in the form of innocent home owners and innocent bystanders. If firearms ever cease to exist in the hands of the good and those who still have morals, all that leaves is a vast amount of criminals truly set on wrong doing, and a heavily armed government that is declaring wars without approval possessing weapons. Average citizens have the right to pursue happiness and the right to feel secure. Law abiding gun owners are this nations first, last, and ONLY line of defense against those who seek to do harm to the innocent. Permanently block all legislation attempting to disarm the good.
