Permanently extend the current Production Tax Credit (indexed for inflation) for Wind Energy.

Created by R.M. on March 06, 2013

Wind power is the most reliable of all clean energy sources now, and the most popular. There is already manufacturing infrastructure in the United States, and the grid is already set up to handle this type of energy production. Wind power also does not release carbon dioxide, a toxic pollutant that has been linked to creating climate change.

By permanently extending the production tax credit, it would provide certainty for investment in clean energy at low cost for the tax payers. This could lead to future development of wind energy, make it more efficient, and create American jobs.

Most importantly, it provides domestic energy for the United States that helps provide certainty to our economy as well as lower energy prices overall.
