Permanently reduce Congressional Salaries and Benefits to force Congress to act in line with their constituents.

We the undersigned hereby request the following changes be made in the United States Congress: 1) Salaries of all Senators and House Representatives be immediately reduced to $75,000 per year; 2) That all future alterations to Congressional salary or benefits packages require the approval of the People through a broad Voter Referendum; 3) That current congressional healthcare programs end and Congress be required to seek healthcare benefits under the Affordable Healthcare Act or private insurance carriers; 4) That Congress no longer be covered under the Federal Employees' Retirement System Act of 1986, and be required to pay into a 401K program for retirement benefits; 5) that retired Congressmen and women be forbidden from joining Lobby Organizations and Think Tanks upon retirement.
