Permanently reduce student loan interest rates to 3% for all federally guaranteed loans.

Created by P.W. on May 04, 2013

American families have taken on educational debt in the hopes of creating a better life for their families. Student loan debt now exceeds credit card debt as a percentage of family income.

The current interest rate far exceeds the market rate available for banks. We ask the Obama administration to

1. Reduce all student loan interest rates to 3%. That represents current inflation plus 2%

2. Expand income based repayment to include parent plus loans.
