Permanently stop all child visitation with non custodial parent when there is fear for the child's life and wellbeing.

The family laws need to be changed. When the custodial parent fears for her child's life and wellbeing, visitation should not be pushed, but the custodial parent should be able to tactfully explain why they fear the other parent being near the child supervised or unsupervised. Often times, people refuse to see a psychiatrist and ultimately being diagnosed with a mental disorder, thus there is no evidence for the court to see that the non custodial parent suffers from a serious mental disorder. If a custodial parent reports a history of abuse from the non custodial parent that had put the child in danger, the abuser is to be involuntarily exempt from visitation. If the custodial parent seems genuinely fearful, protection should be granted permanently. Kids are dying from injustice.
