Permit designated teachers/faculty and military to be certified and carry a firearm on school campuses.

Created by C.R. on December 14, 2012

Let it be known that gun control does not stop shootings, but other people with guns do.

Proposals:

~ Allow a designated number of faculty at each school to receive training and certification with a firearm, permitting them to carry the weapon onto campuses. The number of registered faculty shall be proportional to the size of the school and number of students to allow for proper dispersion of armed personnel across campus.

~ Allow for college students who are previous/current law enforcement or military to receive the same certification and be permitted to carry a handgun onto campus.

~ Require a minimum of two administrative faculty in each grade-level school to be certified and carry a firearm, with at least one being present in the school at all times.
