Permit the untaxed use of home distillation to produce distilled spirits for personal consumption.

As we live in a society founded on the idea that a man is entitled to pursue whatever course he might decide so long as it does not infringe on the rights, liberties, and safety of others, we ask that the United States Government revise its current laws and regulations to permit private citizens the capacity to legally produce distilled spirits without the burden of taxation when the alcoholic product of such distillation is utilized for personal consumption only. The existing laws in regards to this matter are outdated, based on the beliefs of a select few, and restrictive to the point that they infringe upon the rights of the masses. It is unreasonable to restrict such a time-honored historical tradition as home distillation any longer.
