Many restaurants and businesses do not have free Wi-Fi connections for customers to use. Although many people have high-speed connections on their cell phones, there are plenty who do not have this luxury but may carry devices that can connect to Wi-Fi hotspots.
Creating more Wi-Fi connections in public places would allow for greater access to information. Customers could check to make sure they're not buying overpriced goods; workers could check their e-mail during lunch; friends could check facts about what they're talking about over dinner.
Public Wi-Fi would greatly enhance consumer knowledge and experience. Please persuade businesses to install free public Wi-Fi hotspots for customers to use.
