A provision of this law allows for the indefinite detention of terror suspects, including U.S. citizens, without charge. I believe this provision to be a violation of Article I Section 9 and Article III Section 3 of the Constitution, as well as a violation of the Sixth Amendment. Also, the immense amount of power without checks and balances granted by this law is an affront to the Democratic tradition.
