Our country has an epidemic of severe gun violence. One of the many factors fueling this issue is the easy availability of high-powered firearms and large magazines. This petition would call upon Congress to end the sale of military grade weapons to American people. It would no longer allow the sale of excessive guns to anyone in America. This petition does not impede on the 2nd Amendment rights of Americans, but allows high-powered weapons to stay in the hands of trained police officers and members of our military. No longer will peoples be taken from their families due to senseless gun violence. I encourage you to sign this petition to end the spread of gun violence in America.
