Petition to change the oath before congress.

In this petition, the oath spoken before giving sworn testimony would also include the following. I swear to tell the truth the whole truth and nothing but the truth. And swear this on my citizenship and freedom. These few extra words could mean the difference between someone telling a lie and the absolute truth. By swearing this, they agree that falsifying anything will result in there immediate loss of all but basic rights. And also the possibility of deportation if the crime was blatantly committed. This could stop the slap on the wrist, small incarceration times, and petty fines. With your help we can stop this corruption that has become common place. One word at a time.
