Reinstate Glass Steagall and reverse the tide of greed and corruption that has been exhibited by the financial sector of the US economy from the removal of regulatory limits on its business practice and model. Reinstate a law that protected this country for more than 60 years. The Glass Steagall act of 1932 worked- period. The financial sector will eat itself for a profit. It has clearly demonstrated a need for regulatory control. Bring back sanity to a sector that needs to be limited. This sector cost the tax payers an unimaginable amount of money. The Glass steagall act was repealed in 1999 and it took the financial sector 8 years of unchecked greed to tank this sector. This is stunning and clearly shows the harm of the Grahm Leach Bliley act. The American People need proven protection.
