Petition Congress to initiate the impeachment proceedings against Vice President Biden for violating his oath of office

Created by R.D. on January 12, 2013

Article One of the United States Constitution gives the House of Representatives the sole power of impeachment and the Senate the sole power to try impeachments. The Constitution defines impeachment at the federal level and limits impeachment to "The President, Vice President, and all civil officers of the United States" who may be impeached and removed only for "treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors". In his recent remarks Vice President Biden has advocated the use of the institution of executive order of the President to institute measures affecting Americans' constitutional civil right to keep and bear arms, in circumvention of established legislative process. He has violated his oath of office to "preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States."
