Petition Congress to levy a 500% tax and or tariff on all firearm bullets/shells and all bullet making materials/devices

In response to continued firearm homicide against innocent people, The People request The Executive Branch petition The Legislature to levy a tax and or tariff (import tax) on all bullets and shells, bullet/shell making raw materials, bullet/shell making finished materials, bullet/shell making machines, and bullet/shell making devices. A levied tax or tariff of 500% will ensure that a Citizen, stable or unstable, will have to make a conscience choice and budget for the purchase and use of bullets. This will not directly infringe on the 2nd Amendment because firearms themselves are not part of the proposed tax. Firearms and ammunition are easy to obtain but if the ammunition is costly enough, firearm homicides may decrease.
