On the 2012 election the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the people in the territory voted on a Referendum and the results were that the people of Puerto Rico want Puerto Rico to join the Union and be the 51st state. Is April 2013 and Congress has not yet made a decision or even commented about it. Puerto Rico has been a U.S. Territory for more than 80 years and I think is time for a proper response.
