Republican Presidential Nominee Donald J. Trump has repeatedly demonstrated a complete lack of qualification, fitness, and temperament to be entrusted with classified information regarding our national security. He has: 1) stated his plan to unilaterally modify the NATO treaty; 2) refused to disclose his business ties to foreign governments by releasing his tax returns; 3) praised foreign dictators and enemies of the US; 4) bragged about a close relationship with Vladimir Putin; 5) publicly shared information which he claimed was “top secret”; 5) expressed his support for torture; 6) supported banning immigrants based on their religion; 7) reportedly suggested using nuclear weapons.
Providing Trump with classified information would create a dangerous situation for the US and the world.
