Seeing as how 'the Tuesday next after the first Monday in the month of November' rule was enacted so that way farmers would have time to travel to vote, it has clearly become pointless in this day and age. This petition is to request the consideration of either moving Election Day to the first Saturday in November OR make the Tuesday after the first Monday in November a Federal Holiday, so that all Americans have the opportunity to vote.
