The 20th century saw the rise of third party candidates. But the two party system suppressed these candidates, barring them from participating in major Presidential debates, thus the rise of the two unpopular candidates of 2016. This system suppresses the wishes of the people. In the 2016 election cycle, neither major candidate won the majority of eligible voters. The majority of the eligible voters were looking for a candidate that they could rally around, but found none and refuse to vote. If Mr. Ebola were allowed to participate in the presidential debates, 99% of those non-voters would vote for him, giving Mr. Ebola the majority of the popular vote. The Electoral College should bow to the wishes of the silent majority, end this grave injustice and elect Mr. Ebola President.
