We the people ask the federal government to Change an existing Administration policy:

A Petition to End De-Jure Voter Disenfranchisement

Created by G.H. on May 03, 2016

We, the People of the United States of America, have no true voice. Our political parties have fooled us into believing their electoral systems are of any merit.

The current system is incredibly flawed; specifically, Superdelegates of the Democratic Party are running amok with votes no citizens voted to give them, and dishonor their so-called constituency with votes for a candidate they would not elect. The essential duty of a SD is to prevent grassroots (or movements by and for the people) candidates from winning the party nomination.

These leeches of our electoral process sap and besmirch the sacred tenets of this democracy. We are tired of kindly-written and pandering speeches to quell our rightful disgust.

We, the People, are done with this abuse, and demand SDs be abolished.
