This petition is to end the Federal Governments recognition of marriage.
We all want a smaller government, more freedom and less taxes. Rejecting the recognition of married would be one steap closer to a smaller government and more freedom.
As years go by it seems the Federal Government takes more of our rights away. They tell us how to live our lifes, what's best for us, and what to do.
For years Congress has battled back and forth about married, taxes, freedom, and many other items. What if the government just stopped recognising married?
Lets give the people of the UnIted States more freedom and the government less power. Lets keep marriage between the person(s) getting married and the Church.
