Petition for extensive psychiatric testing for entry into local and state law enforcement; random psychiatric testing.

This petition is extremely important as it can help control and filter the type of police in certain communities. Local and State law enforcement should receive the same type of psychiatric testing as Federal. Post-secondary education requirements are a step up from the past but that still does not affect the type of people we are letting put on a uniform and badge. This will not only decrease the likelihood of racial profiling by police but, it will also increase community oriented policing efforts. Having officers who truly want to serve and protect the community they choose to work in can have a profound impact on the lives of a younger generation. The relationship between police and minorities should benefit. This petition is in support of the "Black Lives Matter" campaign. Thank you
