Please sign the petition to get the President involved in getting SSI/Disability Approved Faster. I have been waiting over a year and still waiting, when I found out I am not allowed to work from the doctors. I qualify for SSI because I am on oxygen 24/7. I was still rejected. Now fighting to get a Hearing Expedited. I live in Maryland. I receive TDAP from the State of Maryland. TDAP is Temporary Disability Cash Assistance. I receive $185.00 per month. That is not even enough to cover rent or hardly any bills. When someone who is on Disability gets locked up their Disability stops immediately. What about the family of the person in jail? How does 1 live on only $185.00 per month? Something really needs to change. Only 2-3 bills get paid per month.
