Nonviolent conflict resolution education, taught in public schools, can end family violence, hate crimes, school bullying, dysfunction, addiction, terrorist recruitment, gun violence, and police violence in one generation. The model begins with anger management as taught by pioneers of programs for children suffering from prenatal alcohol exposure, mixed with the Alternatives to Violence Project, founded by Mahatma Gandhi, as taught by Friends for a Non-Violent World. This will mitigate PTSD among police officer and police officer candidates without ending police combat training. Remove officers afflicted with PTSD from duty. This prevents deadly violence towards unarmed people for minor violations. We honor police officers with PTSD as wounded heroes, not as failed police officers.
