Petition for a Federally declared "Open Season" on Feral Housecats.

This petition is for congress to have the Feral housecat declared an invasive species when in natural areas where native small game animals and wild songbirds nest and forage. Also cats that are not "feral" must be collared with a small bell and lisenced through the state much like we do for dogs. house cats that have become adapted to our forests and other biomes have killed billions of songbirds and have taken prey from our native predators I ask congress to seriously consider the environmental impact that these animals create and recognise that all invasive species are a serious threat to our ecosystem and that congress take action and allow the citizens to take a small action in assisting in the issue. Ethics should be considered when setting the calibers and guages to remove cats with
