The Ku Klux Klan has long been the symbol of racially charged hatred, violence, and race-based division in our country. This organization, whose roots are based in the belief that the white race is superior, has attacked, threatened, lynched, and terrorized minority communities, specifically Black Americans, in an effort to uphold white supremacy. The KKK, since it's founding, has used all of their resources to strike fear and spread hatred in the hearts of Americans. It's time that this cowardly sheet wearing organization is recognized by the US government as a terrorist organization, and for all members and all those who carry the KKK brand to be treated as a threat to national security.
