Finding employment in this economy is already hard enough on those with no criminal history. Here in America,we believe that all citizens have the right to live and be fruitful members of the societies in which we live. But how-ever those who have entered the criminal justice system of corrections,after being rehabilitated are being forced to a life of poverty and continous crime,due to the fact that no one will hire them because of criminal background. Be it resolved this petition is asking that it becomes illegal to refuse employment to those with criminal histories,with an exemption to those convictions of violence and sexual assualt. How can we say that we are letting these Americans loose in a country that denies them access to equal employment. This is an injustice that must end!
