Meriam Ibrahim is a pregnant Sudanese woman who has been sentenced to death for forsaking Islam. She was raised in the Christian faith, and married a man who is a US Citizen, also a Christian. The sharia-based court sentenced her to death for adultery and also ordered her receive 100 lashes as soon as she gives birth to her child. She also has a son that is in prison with her.
Please exert pressure upon the Sudanese government to recognize the rights of Meriam Ibrahim and release her to her family. Also emphasize the rights of Christians to be free from this persecution.
