Petition to grant military veterans with more than four honorable years receive benefits post honorable discharge.

Created by M.S. on November 13, 2012

We have a government that allows elected officials to receive 100% retirement pay after only serving two or four years in office, but we need to provide our Military Veterans that servce at least four years honorably with some kind of benefit. Especially those classified with a Service Medal for Wartime Operations. There are several Veterans living in a difficult economy, who volunteered their lives to our government, and now receive no benefits unless they are disabled. All honorably discharged Veterans should receive a portion of what they would have gotten post retirement. None of the programs designed to aid Veterans have been successful. If a Veteran is honorably discharged after 10 years of service, they cannot just get a job making the same money or benefits.
