We shall not fold under white supremacy and masculinity. We took a step forward when we elected Obama for president, but we took 1000 steps back into the past when we elected Trump. We have to move past the oppression and repressive beliefs and values that separates us from one another and come together as one to not let all the efforts of our people go undone. They fought for the rights of all people of color, not just for themselves but for all people who came after them. Let us not go back to segregation and let all of our progression throughout the years go to waste. The future is in our hands, let us not repeat the past and continue striving for a better future.
