Petition to Investigate Law Enforcement Agencies to see if they have Ethics Boards to reduce Police Corruption

Created by N.V. on February 13, 2013

A nationwide investigation of all states to see if they have an Ethics Board that oversees violations of ethics by Police Officers. In many states the only way to see that ethics are followed is through the District Attorney. Only those that know the law or rich enough to hire a good attorney are able to defend themselves against police abuse of power and misconduct. The objective is to require each state to have an Ethics Board that will hold officers liable that go over the line. Many times officers don't obey the laws they enforce and that shouldn't be so in the United States. Ethics are moral standards that should be upheld by our police officers. Many states such as Georgia and Arizona do not have such boards and officers get away with immoral acts. Please sign my petition
