Marijuana prohibition in the United States has long been a financial burden to all tax paying citizens of this great country. The war on drugs has been a major drain on our economic resources and proven time and time again to be a failure.
This petiton ask the federal government to legalize, tax, and regulate the distribution/sale of marijuana. This will prevent dealers, cartel members, and other unlawful citizens profiting from the sale of illegal drugs. By regulating marijuana, we stop allowing street dealers to provide drugs to our youth. Responsible adult over the age of 20 should be allowed to purchase and possess less than an once for personal use.
Please support this proposed change to our national laws and give American citizens back the right to choose for themselves.
