This is a petition to lower cigarette taxes. It is unfair since smokers know what the effects are.

The prices of cigarettes are just to ridiculous. Even though a person maybe a smoker that doesn't mean they never heard the effects of smoking or that they aren't a person like me and you. Another reason why this is a flawed policy is that Obama recently said he wants to hike the tax up again to fund a new universal pre k to 12 education system but if raising the tax is causing less people to smoke what money will this tax even generate
