Dear Mr. President, Please sign an Executive Order:
This Petition is important because it recognizes the Standing Rock, North Dakota area and the Sioux Nations cultural connection to this area as a UNESCO national heritage site.
With Standing Rock, North Dakota to be made a - UNESCO listed Immovable National Heritage Site- it will mean no further development allowed in this area by DAPL or any other culturally damaging encroachments.
We also request that immediate action be taken to protect the Native Americans and preserve the Standing Rock Site as the UNESCO registration is progressing .
