PETITION: Marine Sgt. Craig Pulsey deserves an "Honorable" Discharge for volunteering to protect our children

Created by S.Y. on December 21, 2012

After the tragic events at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, CT, Marine Sgt. Craig Pulsey selflessly volunteered to go stand guard outside a nearby elementary school, wearing fatigues for action if needed. The school loved it and appreciated his protective actions on their behalf.

USMC Reserve says he violated protocol by wearing his fatigues and not his dress uniform in public, and therefore is threatening Sgt. Pulsey with a $10,000 fine, 5 years in prison, and a "dishonorable" stamp on his "honorable" discharge.

He served 2 tours in Iraq (Baghdad and Ramadi) and 1 tour in Helmand province, Afghanistan before leaving active duty.

Please protect Sgt. Pulsey from this ridiculous and undeserved punishment. Sgt. Pulsey deserves our support for his selfless service to our young.
