Petition for More Rigorous Police Training and Selection Process Particularly Involving Use of and Escalation of Force

The mass number of unjustified shooting performed by police agencies nationwide simply falls into a lack of training on use of force and how to properl escalate / respond to escalation of force. Let's face it, the training and selection is too easy. The wrong people are getting in and being the ones responsible for upholding the peace. We need a more intense and selective training process across the board for law enforcement agencies to ensure the right people are the ones becoming police officers and that proper force is applied.
