to petition the North Atlantic Alliance to invoke Article 5 of the North Atlantic Treaty in response to the Paris Attack

Created by D.J. on November 13, 2015

The Paris Attacks are the worst terrorist attack on Paris in the history of France. In response Almost every Head of Government has said there condolences to this attack and say there support for France. The United States of America as a founder member of the North Atlantic Alliance should petition the other countries to invoke Article 5 of the North Atlantic Treaty against the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant. This will show solidarity against the use of terrorism and show that the world is ready and willing to fight against whomever attacks in this fashion. Article 5 has only ever been invoked once in the face of the attacks of 9/11 in New York. The Paris attacks shows that ISIS is growing and nothing will stop them until a coalition of nations band together to fight them.
