Many Viet Nam era Veterans are still suffering from exposue to Agent Orange . The Veterans Admin. are helping these Veterans with diseases stemming from their contact with Agent Orange but don't forget this is self inflicked, the U.S military sprayed the herbicide. It would be another step in the right direction to award these Veterans with the Purple Heart Metal - a thank you from the people of America. Why should a Veteran recieve a Purple Heart for a simple cut when a Veteran dealing with the ravages of cancer or other messed up illness is denied , not to diminish the service of the first with a simple cut but to elevate the second .
