Petition for the Obama Administration to Make a Statement on the Discovery of Water on Mars, and Reassess NASA's funding

Considering the recent discovery by NASA that liquid water can and does exist on Mars, this petition seeks to request of the Obama administration:

1.) A formal response to to NASA's discovery of water on Mars

2.) An affirmation of NASA's role in technological and scientific development

3.) A request from President Obama to NASA on developing multiple strategies of a manned-mission to Mars

4.) A request from President Obama to Congress to reassess NASA's budget in a way that can accommodate such strategies at no less than 75% of NASA's requested budget
