Health is something that is more important for society than anything else, and in addition to a thriving population, improved life expectancy, and improved diversity, the lower the rate of illness, the more efficient and productive the workforce becomes.
This can be extremely beneficial in the long run and will have knock on exponential benefits for the economy that is struggling so deeply in present times.
Natural Disasters also have many emergency funds and appeals, which America is truly second to none at providing, however in the long run, there is no maintained, guaranteed healthcare for those in dire need.
