There needs to be a balance between transparent government & state secrets. State secrets need to exist but should not violate the constitutional rights of Americas. This petition is to encourage President Trump to begin a new tradition of honesty in the executive branch by pardoning the brave patriots that come forward with information of when & where government has violating the rights of the American people. When government fails to protect the rights of the people it is the duty of Americans in government to come forward & the right of the media to publish. This petition is to request that a presidential pardon be granted to Edward Snowden & Chelsea Manning as well as ending that the US government's attempts to capture Julian Assange & encourage the press to keep government honest.
