The National Mortgage Settlement Program should extend its filing deadlines for affected homeowners for the following reasons...
1) Inadequate attention was given to identify barriers to awareness of the program by disabled homeowners (lack of TDD access to consulting reviewers, lack of audio option for visual impairments). The lack of theses adaptive offerings has resulted in delayed awareness and response by people with these and other disabilities)
2) Lack of accessibility for filling out online claims forms.
