For too long, many Americans had committed a non-violent crime and the criminal record sticks to that person for a life time. Prohibiting a lot of Americans from obtaining jobs. And simple ones at that. For instance, I attended a tech college for diesel mechanics. When I graduated, no one would hire me because of an 10 -14 year old felony convictions. Now, I am back in college trying to obtain more education. Also, I'm getting deeper into debt. Because of policies that was formed to keep African-Americans down, it's almost impossible to get a job flipping hamburgers and frying french fries. Please, put in place a law for everyone who has committed a non-violent crime, to regain all civil rights when sentenced for that crime is done and over with.
