This petition is for the serious consideration of colonization of mars by the year 2030

I wish for the United States government, indeed all first world nations to come together and make serious strides towards the colonization of the planet mars in the next few decades, having a second planet for the human race opens unlimited possibilities, for growth in all facets of life and it grants humanity a second home among the stars, with problems rising ever faster across the globe( over population, limited resources, pollution, ect.) the need for another world to occupy grows, so I say we need a call to action a rallying cry for all nations, all peoples, all creeds to unify and put the good of humanity's present and future over petty squabbles, the terraforming of mars is not only in the interest of the United States but mankind as a whole.
