We support the stated goal of the legislation — to protect intellectual property and stop online piracy. And we would never willingly violate either of those principles.
But this legislation of SOPA/PIPA would not accomplish their stated goal, while threatening the underlying structure of the internet we know and love — and for that reason, I oppose them.
